Charlotte, NC D.A. to Prioritize Prosecutions

What a joke? No it isn't a joke. District Attorney in Charlotte, NC has declared open season on law abiding citizens. Instead of taking a stance that says we aren't tolerating crime, Charlotte district attorney feels that if you do the crime you might not have to do the time. Murray admits criminals behind certain property crimes and assaults won't make it to trial, especially if they're first offenders. Instead they could get a plea deal, which would mean less time behind bars.
People that live in Charlotte knows that the majority of crimes committed is committed by repeat offenders. This is a big win for the criminal element. We all understand that there is a need to convict the people locked up for murders but this is a slap in the face to every law abiding citizen. It may have been safer in the wild wild west than it is in Charlotte, NC.  I guess we all can just take a seat and hope that the criminals don't have to kill us to be prosecuted and convicted.
